Seminar on Neutron Scattering and Biology by Joe Zaccai on April 21

On April 21 the Centre for Neutron Scattering are hosting a seminar by Dr. Joe Zaccai on the topic "New neutron scattering opportunities to study structural dynamics of biological complexes".

Speaker: Dr. Joe Zaccai, Institut Laue Langevin, Grenoble, France

Title: "New neutron scattering opportunities to study structural dynamics of biological complexes."

Time: April 21, 2016, at 10:15 hrs

Location: BMC (Uppsala Biomedical Centre), Room A3:117a

Joe Zaccai has been working for many years on solution structures of proteins as well as on dynamics of membrane proteins and nucleic acid/protein complexes. He is very well know for his work with neutron scattering and in 2013 was awarded the Walter Hälg prize. He is a corresponding fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

Everyone is welcome!

Joe will be available for further discussions with people interested in work with neutrons and biology. He can provide specific information about possible experiments. Please contact Adrian Rennie if you would like to fix an appointment.
